Chief Judge, Tribal Court & Sovereignty Leader

Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians in Palm Springs, CA is seeking a Chief Judge to preside over and adjudicate a broad range of matters within the Tribe’s jurisdiction. Lead the development and management of the ACBCI Tribal Court and protect tribal sovereignty in all proceedings. The role requires JD, admission in good standing in Ninth Circuit courts, and at least 7 years of licensed attorney experience with federal Indian law.
