Job Description: Maintenance Aide
Job Summary:
Join the Serenity Estates of Morris team and contribute to the provision of exceptional care to our residents by serving as a Maintenance Aide. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors, as well as cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Assist with laundry and housekeeping tasks, such as changing linens and restocking supplies
- Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of our facilities, including the exterior and interior spaces
- Support the maintenance team with task completion, such as fixing leaky faucets, unclogging drains, and performing minor repairs
- Assist residents with mobility and daily living tasks, as needed
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and staff members
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures
