Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dependable, professional, and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dental team! The ideal candidate will have hands-on periodontal experience, strong clinical skills, excellent patient communication, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Position Requirements:- Minimum 2+ years of dental assisting experience
- Perio experience required
- Knowledge of periodontal procedures and treatment
- Experience assisting with scaling/root planing and periodontal maintenance
- Familiarity with dental instruments, sterilization, and infection-control protocols
- Ability to take dental X-rays
- Comfortable assisting during surgical and routine dental procedures
- Knowledge of dental charting and treatment documentation
- Dentrix experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and patient-service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude

Responsibilities:- Chairside assisting
- Periodontal procedures and maintenance
- Patient preparation and education
- Taking dental X-rays
- Instrument setup and sterilization
- Maintaining operatory cleanliness and infection-control standards
- Updating patient charts
- Preparing materials and instruments for procedures
- Supporting the dentist and hygiene team
