RN Progressive Care Unit

Memorial Health in Savannah, Georgia seeks a dedicated RN for our Progressive Care Unit. In this role, you will provide specialized, evidence-based care to acutely ill patients requiring close monitoring, including telemetry and complex medical management. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, medication administration, care coordination, and patient/family education in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to progressive care unit patients. Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient status, including telemetry and vital signs. Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately. Coordinate care and communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and participate in rapid response situations. Maintain accurate EHR documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the progressive care unit. Precept or mentor new staff and participate in ongoing professional development. Contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered culture aligned with Memorial Health values.
