JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a growing specialty E&S carrier seeking an AVP Environmental Liability Underwriter to join their newly launched Environmental Liability platform. This role is ideal for an experienced Environmental Liability underwriter with a strong background in business development, portfolio management, broker relationships, and complex environmental risks.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and structure Environmental Liability accounts across new opportunities and existing business, including pricing, coverage, and risk selection
Build relationships with brokers, identify opportunities, and grow and maintain a profitable book of business
Contribute to the growth of the new Environmental Liability platform while providing technical guidance and mentorship to the underwriting team
Qualifications:
5+ years of Environmental Liability underwriting experience required
E&S underwriting experience required
