Job Summary:
Independently manages regulatory compliance for U.S. retirement (DB/DC), VEBA, and Health & Welfare Benefit Plans. Responsible for preparation and coordination of all required filings (e.g., IRS Form 5500, SEC Form 11-K, IRS Forms 1094 B/C and 1095 B/C, state disability filings) and ensuring adherence to ERISA and related regulatory requirements. Works cross-functionally to maintain compliance, mitigate risk, and ensure audit readiness and completeness.
Key Responsibilities:- Ability to independently manage regulatory compliance for U.S. retirement (DB/DC), VEBA, and H&W Benefit plans
- Manage the preparation, coordination, and submission of IRS Form 5500 filings across all benefit plans
- Support SEC Form 11-K filings and ensure alignment with financial disclosuresACA Summary of Benefits and Coverage, and required disclosures (1094 B/C and 1095 B/C)
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (ERISA, IRS, DOL, etc.)
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business 3+ years of experience in Accounting and Auditing (preferably experience with public company financial statements) The ideal candidate must be capable of independently managing and coordinating the full end-to-end regulatory compliance reporting process.
