Position Overview:
Outpatient clinic coverage for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). This is an urgent locums need with potential for ongoing coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinic only schedule operating 7am-4pm with a 1-hour lunch break. Guaranteed 8 hours per day. Approximately 8 patient encounters per shift. Candidate Requirements Applicants must have a clean file with no malpractice settlements, DUIs, drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions. The following are required for consideration: Complete RFA, current CV, and 24 months of relevant activity documentation Completed application References on standby to respond immediately Active state license in California Board Certification (eligible minimum)DEA requiredBLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Hospital privileges required Organizational Highlights The facility features 12 RNs, 6 office staff, and an Epic EMR system. Insurance is provided by vendor. Credentialing timeline is approximately 30 days. Location Information Eureka, CA in the Pacific timezone. Allowed holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Travel Reimbursement Details: NOT reimbursed: Mileage from provider's home to departing airport or from airport to home upon return. Ride share or taxi from provider's home to departing airport or from airport to home upon return. WILL be reimbursed: Airport parking at provider's departing airport if provider drives themselves. Ride share or taxi from destination airport to hotel/lodging and from lodging to clinic. Rental car insurance policies must be pre-approved prior to booking.
