Leak Tester A manufacturing company is seeking to fill an open position for a Leak Tester who can make TIG Welding repairs on fuel tanks. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
Perform leak testing on diesel fuel tanks and hydraulic reservoirs in accordance with established work instructions and quality standardsIdentify the source of any leaks found and perform Tig Welding repairs on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to correct themRead and interpret prints to verify tanks and reservoirs conform to specificationsFollow written work instructions accurately and consistentlyUse basic hand tools and apply working knowledge of various thread pitches and thread types when inspecting and servicing fitting and portsMaintain accurate and complete records of test resultsReport identified defects or recurring issues to Quality and Production as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
