Medical Monitor – Gastroenterology
Remote | United States | Full-Time Summary:
A hands-on Medical Monitoring opportunity with a global CRO supporting growing Gastroenterology programs across biotech and pharmaceutical clients. The role will provide medical oversight across active studies, with responsibility for subject safety, clinical data review, investigator support, sponsor interaction and study delivery, with a strong focus on IBD, Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease.
Ideal background:
- MD/DO with current Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- Adult Gastroenterologist with approximately 10 years’ clinical practice experiencePI or Sub-I experience on industry-sponsored clinical trials
- Strong exposure to IBD / UC / Crohn’s Disease
- Phase II/III clinical trial experience preferred
- Prior Medical Monitoring experience advantageous, but not essentia
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as Medical Monitor across GI studies
- Oversee subject safety, eligibility and protocol interpretation
- Review AEs/SAEs, clinical data and emerging safety trends
- Support investigators, sites and sponsor teams
- Contribute to study delivery, sponsor meetings and bid defenses
- CompensationBase: Starting $300,000 USD; Final level and compensation to be determined based on experience, scope, and overall fit
Bonus:
Approximately 4–5%; Annual merit increases typically 3–4%Remote USFull benefits package
