Lead With Purpose. Empower Youth. Change Lives. At VOA, we believe every young person deserves safety, belonging, and the opportunity to build a brighter future. As the Crosswalk Shelter Supervisor, you'll help lead Spokane's only 24/7 low-barrier emergency shelter for youth ages 13-17. This is more than a supervision role. It is an opportunity to mentor staff, create stability for vulnerable youth, and help shape a safe, welcoming environment where healing and growth can happen every day. If you are a compassionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and believes in meeting youth where they are, we invite you to join a mission-driven team dedicated to Seeing People First and Empowering All to Thrive.

Oversee evening shelter operations, including staffing, safety, and shift transitions.
Create a physically and emotionally safe environment for youth experiencing homelessness and crisis.
Support staff in responding to challenging situations using trauma-informed and youth-centered approaches.
Ensure shelter operations meet licensing, regulatory, and program standards.
Review intakes, monitor documentation quality, and uphold mandatory reporting requirements.
Maintain accurate records, data collection, and reporting for program and funding requirements.
Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
Develop strong partnerships with schools, service providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
