Philadelphia, PA Compensation Rate: Up to $20/hour, depending on experience Schedule: PRN (as needed)
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking caring, compassionate, and energetic Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide supportive living services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) in a residential setting. DSPs will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and provide companionship and emotional support within a safe, respectful, and structured environment. You will be scheduled to work at one facility per day, with assignments rotating between locations in the following areas and ZIP codes: Philadelphia, Bala Cynwyd, Wynnewood, Narberth, Penn Valley, and Villanova.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals with IDDsValid driver's license
- Access to your own vehicle (required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living tasks
- Provide personal care and hygiene support
- Transport and accompany individuals to appointments or community outings
- Administer prescribed medications (if certified)
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Offer companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
- Support the creation of a safe, clean, and structured living environment
