Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Pine Valley Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking motivated, per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team! Pine Valley Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is located in the village of Spring Valley, New York. We offer a variety of health care solutions for our patients including long term and sub-acute care. We are currently hiring per diem! The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and possess the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
Responsibilities:- Provide treatment according to the established plan of carePTAs will provide treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the clinical team
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications:- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licenseSNF experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Per diem
