Job Title: Truck Dispatcher (Bilingual: English/Ukrainian)

Position Overview:
Our client, a growing asset-based trucking company in the Chicago area, is seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Truck Dispatcher fluent in English and Ukrainian to join its team. This role is ideal for an experienced dry van dispatcher who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at coordinating drivers and freight, and has strong load-booking, route-planning, and rate-negotiation skills. The successful candidate will play an important role in coordinating daily transportation operations, maximizing truck utilization, maintaining strong relationships with drivers and brokers, and ensuring shipments are delivered safely and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch Operations: Coordinate and dispatch drivers for pickups and deliveries while managing daily transportation schedules.
Load Booking & Rate Negotiation: Secure freight through brokers and negotiate competitive rates to support profitability and operational efficiency.
Route Planning: Plan efficient routes, optimize truck utilization, and coordinate transportation schedules.
Shipment Monitoring: Track shipments, address delays, and resolve transportation issues in real time.
Communication & Coordination: Maintain consistent communication with drivers, brokers, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth operations.
On-Time Performance: Monitor pickup and delivery schedules to support reliable service and customer satisfaction.
Load Board Management: Utilize load boards such as DAT and Truckstop to identify freight opportunities and secure suitable loads.
Operational Efficiency: Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records, organized dispatch operations, and high service standards.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 1.5+ years of dry van dispatching experience required.
- Fluency in both English and Ukrainian is required.
- Hands-on experience using freight load boards, such as DAT or Truckstop.
- Demonstrated ability to book loads and negotiate rates with brokers.
- Strong knowledge of dispatch coordination, route planning, and driver scheduling.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to respond proactively to changing schedules and resolve transportation challenges efficiently.
- Freight consolidation experience is a plus.

Work Requirements:
Full-time, on-site position in South Holland, Illinois.
Prior dry van dispatching experience is required.
