Logistics Coordinator

LaSalle Network has partnered with a growing logistics company seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join its team onsite in Palatine, IL. This is a fast-paced role for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple shipments and priorities. Prior logistics experience is required, particularly in roles such as Dispatcher, Domestic Coordinator, Logistics Clerk, or Track and Trace Specialist. Logistics Coordinator ResponsibilitiesTrack and monitor shipments from pickup through delivery, ensuring timely and accurate updates Maintain detailed shipment records, tracking notes, and status updates Proactively identify and communicate delays, exceptions, and service issues to internal teams Coordinate with field offices, agents, and carrier networks to keep shipments moving Troubleshoot shipment disruptions and follow through on resolutions Manage a high volume of incoming calls and emails while prioritizing time-sensitive requests Build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers and external partnersLogistics Coordinator Requirements Previous hands-on logistics experience in a role such as Dispatcher, Domestic Coordinator, Logistics Clerk, Track and Trace Specialist, or similar Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple shipments and competing priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to think quickly, stay organized under pressure, and meet tight deadlines Comfortable using shipment tracking systems and navigating multiple technology platformsKey Details Compensation: $22-$23 per hour Location: Palatine, IL Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
