Civil Engineering Lead

Onsite: Juno Beach, FLCivil Engineering Lead – Utility-Scale Solar & BESSResponsibilitiesLead civil due diligence reviews, including ALTA surveys, geotechnical and environmental assessments, permitting, drainage, and grading. Manage and review Engineer of Record (EOR) deliverables throughout design milestones, including 30%, 60%, 90%, and IFC.Support design automation initiatives for automated Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) designs. Support project development, constructability reviews, CAPEX estimates, and value engineering. Coordinate with EORs, EPC contractors, surveyors, geotechnical consultants, and internal engineering teams. Review RFIs, change orders, and construction-related issues throughout project execution. Support site development activities, including hydrology, drainage, roadway design, and grading. Provide technical leadership for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.10+ years of civil engineering experience. Experience with utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), substations, or large infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of site grading, drainage, stormwater management, permitting, and construction support. Experience managing external engineering firms and EPC contractors.
