This opportunity offers a civilian contractor role supporting inpatient surgical and anesthesia services in a structured clinical environment. This position does not require military service. A Texas medical license is required. Assistance available for candidates needing to obtain licensure. Practice Highlights
- Full-scope anesthesia services for surgical and selected non-surgical cases
- No CRNA supervision required
- Self-scheduling model (approx. 160 hours/month for full-time)
- Pager call required
- Long-term contract with option to extend
- Credentialing timeline approximately 45–60 days Candidate Requirements
- MD/DO with completion of ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Active, unrestricted Texas Medical License & DEA
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS (No online-only certifications accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent anesthesia practice within the last 3 years
- Proficiency with airway management, ventilator management, perioperative assessment, and anesthesia protocols Schedule & Coverage
- Full-time preferred; local PRN candidates encouraged
- Flexible self-schedule structure
- Inpatient surgical support, including OR and perioperative care
- Expected to support clinical operations and documentation standards Compensation & Contract Structure
