Job DescriptionOBJECTIVES:Produce 1st quality material with minimal waste and downtime in a safe and efficient manner while achieving key performance indicators (kpi). Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Calculate and coordinate the raw materials needed for production.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Apply skill acquired to cut and inspect a product that meets or exceeds customerrequirements. This includes order changes, deletions, cut-off periods and any otherchanges pertaining to order maintenance.2. Maintain all paper work and records in a correct and professional manner.3. Keeping the material waste to a minimum.4. Keep work area clean and free of debris.5. Record data using calipers.6. Prepare orders for shipment, verifying the product meets customer specification.
SPECIAL SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:
Positive communication skills. Average math and reading skills. Capable of using a tape measure and calipers. Basic computer skills including the use of Windows based programs. High School diploma/GED equivalent required. Ability to meet production standards as set by the company. Capable of walking and standing for long periods of time Capable of lifting and moving a maximum of 25 lbs.
