Position Summary: TheCDL DriverAutomated Side-Load (ASL)is responsible for operating an automated residential collection vehicle to safely and efficiently service assigned routes. This position focuses on automated side-load equipment and residential service, with an emphasis on safety, route efficiency, customer service, and DOT compliance. ASL drivers typically operatedual-drive automated trucks, allowing for right-side operation with minimal manual handling.

Key Responsibilities: Route & Equipment Operation Safely operate anAutomated Side-Load (ASL) truckon assigned residential routes Perform daily route assignments efficiently and on schedule Use automated arms to collect carts while maintaining awareness of surroundings Navigate residential neighborhoods safely and defensively Safety & Compliance Comply withDOT and FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) Perform requiredpre-trip and post-trip inspectionsand report any defects Follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and site-specific procedures Immediately report accidents, incidents, injuries, or property damage Customer Service & Professionalism Provide courteous and professional service to customers and the public Maintain a clean and professional appearance of assigned equipment Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and operations staff Yard & Support Duties Assist with basic yard or equipment-related tasks as assigned Support team operations to ensure consistent service delivery
