Our team works on a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments, with a strong focus on roadway design, drainage, and utility systems.
Job Details:
- Design and develop roadway geometry, alignments, profiles, and cross sections for land development and infrastructure projects
- Prepare construction plans, specifications, and technical documents including plan/profile sheets and roadway details
- Perform grading, drainage, and stormwater design in support of roadway and site development projects
- Coordinate roadway design with utilities, drainage systems, and overall site layout
- Conduct quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and support project budgeting efforts
- Assist with permitting, regulatory approvals, and agency coordination
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including survey, planning, and landscape architecture
- Support QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with applicable design standards and regulations
- Participate in field visits, inspections, and construction support as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in roadway or site civil design (varies by level)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required); experience with transportation design tools preferred
- Knowledge of roadway design standards, grading, drainage, and stormwater systems
- Strong understanding of permitting processes and construction documentation
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- EIT required or ability to obtain; PE preferred for senior-level roles Strong organizational and communication skills
