Packaging Engineer, Consumer Goods - up to $85k base + benefits

Our client is a global manufacturer which makes products for the Personal Care and Consumer Goods markets. This Packaging Engineer role is a permanent, full-time role based on-site at their 600,000 sq ft facility near Skokie, IL. Reporting to the R & D Manager the role involves: Primary packaging development for new products Manage packaging related projects liaising with product development, regulatory, procurement and other internal teams Manage the technical relationship with packaging suppliers Identify packaging supplier for NPD The candidate: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science, Engineering or similar At least 3 years’ packaging experience in a manufacturing environment Proficient with different types of packaging The base salary for this role is up to $85,000 plus benefits including health, vision, dental, 401k match, life insurance & PTO.
