Location: Largo, FL
Pay: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience and weld test results
We are hiring an experienced Pipe Fitter/Welder for a shop position in the Largo area. This role involves repeatedly fitting and MIG welding pipe. The ideal candidate has at least five years of relevant experience, can read blueprints, and is comfortable producing consistent, quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Fit and MIG weld pipe in a shop environment
- Read and follow blueprints and job specifications
- Measure, align, and prepare pipe for welding
- Perform repetitive fitting and welding work while maintaining quality
- Complete a weld test as part of the hiring process
- Follow shop safety procedures and keep the work area organized
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of pipe fitting and welding experienceMIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong measuring, fitting, and layout skills
- Ability to perform repetitive shop work
- Successful completion of a weld test
