CNC Programmer

Duties/Responsibilities: Review drawings and customer requirements to develop a manufacturing strategy that will produce parts to meet customer requirements from start to finish. Create Process paperwork that will be followed by other machinists. Program CNC machines using MasterCam software Read, understand, and adjust G&M code Comply with all company safety guidelines Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Skills/Abilities: Have a positive attitude Able to program Weldments of various sizes along with fully machined parts. Able to develop a plan, document manufacturing processes from start to finish. Able to critically think to resolve process issues as they arise. ·Extensive knowledge of CNC machine tools and controls. ·Extensive knowledge of tooling and machining strategies for complex geometry. ·Extensive Knowledge of 2,3 and 4 axis programming of CNC machine tools. ·Excellent blueprint reading and interpretation of GD&T on drawings.
