The Role:
We’re hiring a Senior Tax Associate on a path to Tax Manager. This is a client-facing role where you’ll manage engagements, review work, and gain exposure to advanced tax planning. You’ll work directly with firm leadership on client strategy, planning, and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (S Corps, partnerships, LLCs)
- Manage client onboarding and accounting workflows
- Oversee bookkeeping, monthly close, and financial reporting
- Communicate directly with clients and tax authorities
- Implement tax planning strategies
- Mentor junior staff and review their work
- Improve internal systems and processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of tax preparation (individual + small business)3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experienceCPA or EA license (required)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. small business taxation
- Client communication skills
Preferred: ProSeries experience, international tax exposure
