About This Role:
The DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is seeking a senior Transportation Consultant with deep experience in professional school transportation within a state education environment. You will lead landscape analysis of the student transportation program, advise on routing (door-to-door), GPS tracking and monitoring, and system training, and guide OSSE on the path to procurement, with a focus on improving transportation costs and customer delivery. This is a remote role that requires onsite presence in Washington, DC about once a month.
