Land Surveyor Helper

El Paso, TexasOnin Staffing is seeking a dependable Land Surveyor Helper to assist a professional surveying crew with daily field operations. This is a hands-on outdoor position for someone who enjoys staying active and is interested in learning the land-surveying trade.
Responsibilities:- Assist the survey crew with daily field assignments
- Carry, set up, and properly store surveying equipment
- Hold survey rods, prisms, and measuring equipment
- Place stakes, markers, flags, and survey points
- Help collect accurate field measurements and project information
- Clear minor obstructions to establish survey lines
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles
- Follow all jobsite and company safety procedures
Qualifications:- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat, wind, dust, and changing weather
- Ability to walk over rough or uneven terrain
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Previous construction, outdoor labor, or surveying experience is helpful but not required
- Valid driver's license may be required
