As a Resident Assistant, you will provide person-centered care and support to residents in our senior living community. You'll help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that truly feels like home while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families. What Youll Do: Provide direct care & support: Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support residents with dementia by providing individualized, respectful care Encourage independence and emotional well-being by honoring daily routines and preferences Monitor resident safety and promptly report concerns Support dining & daily activities: Assist during mealtimes, including feeding and cleanup when needed Help create a vibrant daily experience through social engagement and activities Participate in household tasks to keep the environment clean and welcoming Communicate & document effectively: Observe and report changes in resident condition or behavior Help maintain accurate care documentation and contribute to care planning Communicate kindly and clearly with families, team members, and supervisors Be a team player: Follow infection control and safety protocols Assist coworkers as needed and help maintain a positive, team-focused environment Take ownership of your job duties and pride in your work What Youll Need: High School Diploma or GEDExperience in senior care or dementia care preferred A compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused mindset Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as neededCPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
