About Siteguard Safety
We keep crews safe on active jobsites — not from behind a desk, but in the field where the work actually happens. Our team supports commercial, institutional, and industrial construction projects with practical, boots-on-the-ground safety leadership.
The Role:
We're hiring a Safety Specialist to run day-to-day safety operations across our active projects. You'll be on jobsites most of the week, working alongside foremen and project managers to spot hazards before they become incidents, coach crews in the moment, and keep our documentation airtight.
This isn't a paperwork job with a hard hat on the shelf. If you'd rather be walking scaffold and talking to crews than sitting in an office, this is the right fit.
What You'll Do:
Conduct routine jobsite inspections and audits; document findings and drive corrections to closure
Lead toolbox talks, new-hire safety orientations, and ongoing crew training
Investigate incidents and near-misses; complete root cause analysis and corrective action plans
Maintain OSHA 300 logs, SDS libraries, training records, and project-specific safety plans
Develop and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and pre-task plans
Serve as the point of contact for GC safety requirements, prequalification platforms, and third-party audits
Manage fall protection, silica, scaffold, aerial lift, and PPE programs in the field
Support workers' comp claims management and return-to-work coordination
Track leading and lagging indicators and report trends to leadership
