About Us:
Realm Security helps security teams control the explosive growth and cost of security data — routing, reducing, and enriching log data before it hits the SIEM, without sacrificing detection coverage. We’re a fast-growing cybersecurity SaaS company built by practitioners for practitioners, scaling our go-to-market and partner ecosystem for our next stage of growth.
Role Overview:
Realm Security is seeking a Director of Technical Alliances to build and lead the technology partner ecosystem supporting our next stage of growth. This leader will own the technical alliances strategy, integrations, and joint go-to-market across SIEM, security data lake, and cloud platforms, while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
This is a hands‑on role for an experienced alliance leader who thrives in a high‑growth cybersecurity environment. Boston, MA is preferred; remote candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and evolve the company’s technology alliance strategy, prioritizing partners by customer overlap, revenue potential, and strategic fit
Build and manage relationships with SIEM vendors (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Google SecOps, Elastic, CrowdStrike), security data lakes (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Security Lake), and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Source, negotiate, and close technology partnership agreements, including integration, co‑marketing, and marketplace terms
Partner with Product and Engineering to scope, prioritize, and deliver certified integrations, connectors, and marketplace listings
Build co‑sell motions with partner field teams, including account mapping, deal registration, and joint pipeline reviews
Develop joint solution briefs, reference architectures, webinars, and event presence with Marketing
Enable Sales and Solutions Engineering on partner positioning and joint value propositions
Define, track, and report alliance KPIs, including partner‑sourced and partner‑influenced pipeline, to the executive team
Build and develop a high‑performing alliances team as the company scales
Qualifications10–15 years of progressive experience in technology partnerships and alliances, with significant time in cybersecurity
Direct experience building and managing partnerships with SIEM and/or security data lake vendors is required
Proven record of closing technology partnership agreements and generating measurable partner‑sourced or partner‑influenced revenue
Working technical knowledge of security operations data, including log ingestion, data normalization and schemas (e.g., OCSF, CIM, ECS), and SIEM licensing and cost models
Experience running co‑sell and cloud marketplace programs with AWS, Microsoft, or Google Cloud
Based in the Boston, MA area preferred; remote candidates within the U.S. will be considered
Proven experience working credibly with both partner engineering teams and executive leadership
Track record of building an alliance program and team in a high‑growth company
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent experience
