APPLY NOWRo Health is hiring flexible, dependable Substitute Behavioral Health Paraprofessionals and Class Aides to join our Arizona Behavioral Team for the 2026–2027 school year. This role offers total schedule flexibility while giving you the opportunity to make a high-impact difference supporting diverse K–12 learners across the Valley. As a Per Diem / Substitute provider, you will play a vital role in keeping partner school districts running smoothly by stepping in to cover same-day call-outs, scheduled provider time-off, and short-term district coverage requests. What You’ll Need:
Behavior Management Experience: Minimum 6+ months of hands-on experience managing challenging, aggressive, or maladaptive behaviors in K–12, ABA, or care settings (required).Adaptability & Reliability: Comfort stepping into new classroom environments, quick adaptability, and strong morning communication skills. Associate’s Degree or 60+ cumulative college-level courses (If you do not meet our education requirement, we will support you with obtaining necessary certifications).Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (or willingness to obtain).Ability to pass state/federal background checks and drug screening. Strong physical stamina, patience, and team-oriented mindset.
What You’ll Do:
- Step in to support K–12 classrooms, small groups, or 1:1 student assignments on an on-demand, daily basis.
- Respond to daily shift requests to cover staff absences, short-term leaves, and unexpected district surge needs.
- Implement proactive behavior redirection, crisis de-escalation, and coping strategies for students with behavioral intervention plans (IEPs).Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities, daily routines, and maintaining a safe learning environment.
- Support students displaying various behavioral needs, including mild-to-moderate redirection as well as complex, aggressive, or maladaptive behaviors.
- Maintain clear communication with school site staff and your Ro Health dispatch team regarding assignment updates and ETAs.
