APPLY NOW (opens in a new tab)Quality Control Manager A general contractor is hiring a Quality Control Manager for an aircraft hangar, an approximately $220M federal (NAVFAC) project running through late 2029.
What You'll Do:
- Run the contractor quality control program under the three-phase control system (preparatory, initial and follow-up)
- Write and maintain daily QC reports, deficiency logs and the submittal register
- Coordinate inspections and testing with the government's quality assurance team
- Lead QC meetings and keep subcontractors aligned with contract specifications
- Support hazard identification, safety compliance and sustainability requirements on site
- What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or construction management
- At least 10 years of construction experience as a Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Manager on contracts of similar size and type that included the major trades
- At least 2 years of experience as a QC Manager
- Familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1, with experience in hazard identification, safety compliance and sustainabilityUSACE or NAVFAC quality control experience; Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification is a plus
- Must read, write and speak English fluently
