Oncology - Radiation Physician

Med Ninjas is seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist for holiday locum coverage in Findlay, Ohio. This outpatient opportunity offers weekday clinic hours, no call, no weekend coverage, a manageable daily patient volume, and an experienced clinical support team. The assignment may also be suitable for a physician interested in exploring a potential locum-to-permanent opportunity. Assignment Highlights Specialty: Radiation Oncology

Weekend coverage: None Patient volume: Approximately 5 10 patients per day

Pediatric patients: None Coverage model: Independent physician coverage with clinical supportPotential extension: Locum-to-permanent interest may be considered Current Coverage Dates December, 2026 December 21 and December 23 are especially important December, 2026 December 28 and December 30 are especially important Physicians who can cover either complete block or the priority dates are encouraged to apply. Clinical Responsibilities The physician will be responsible for: Evaluating scheduled Radiation Oncology patients Providing urgent Radiation Oncology consultations Managing follow-up visits Overseeing on-treatment patients Performing and reviewing CT simulations Directing radiation therapy treatments Completing timely clinical documentation Functioning independently as the sole Radiation Oncologist during assigned coverage Equipment and Resources The cancer program includes: Two TrueBeam linear accelerators Siemens Go-Sim CT simulator Three registered nurses Clinic administrative support Candidate Requirements Board Certified in Radiation Oncology Current Radiation Oncology clinical experience Ability to manage treatments and CT simulations Ability to function independently as the sole physician Active Ohio medical license preferred Physicians requiring Ohio licensure may be considered Clean professional and credentialing background Two recent, clinically relevant professional references Recent locum reference, when applicable Ability to cover the confirmed dates Travel Support Approved travel reimbursement may include: Economy airfare and rental car, subject to assignment guidelines Mileage reimbursement, when applicable Reasonable lodging for eligible physicians residing more than one hour from the facility Travel arrangements must be reviewed and approved before booking.
