APPLY NOW (opens in a new tab)Alleato Group is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead commercial estimating and preconstruction from early concept through GMP or final proposal. This is not a takeoff-only role. As a design-build general contractor, Alleato becomes involved early enough to influence design, constructability, procurement, value engineering, scheduling, and overall project cost. You will work directly with executive leadership, participate in project pursuits, and take ownership of the estimates you prepare.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Prepare conceptual, schematic, design-development, and final estimates* Lead subcontractor solicitation, bid leveling, and scope-gap reviews* Develop complete estimates, bid packages, scopes, and proposals* Provide cost analysis, value engineering, and constructability input* Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors* Maintain historical cost data and improve estimating processes* Support awarded projects through preconstruction handoff* Help build Alleato's growing preconstruction departmentWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR* Seven or more years of commercial GC estimating experience* Experience preparing complete commercial estimates valued at $10 million or more* Experience taking projects from conceptual budgeting through GMP or final proposal* Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, scopes, and sequencing* Proven subcontractor solicitation and bid-leveling experience* Design-build or negotiated preconstruction experience strongly preferred* Proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, Procore, and estimating software* Ability to identify scope gaps and confidently defend an estimateWHY ALLEATO?This role offers direct access to company leadership, influence over project pursuits and pricing, and the opportunity to help shape our preconstruction processes as we grow.
