Press Brake Operator We are seeking a mid- to entry-level Press Brake Operator to join our 2nd shift manufacturing team in Monee, IL. This is a TEMP-TO-HIRE position!$20.00 per hour2nd shift: 2:30pm-1:00am Mon-Thurs4-day work week! Weekly paycheck! OT available! PTO accrual! Insurance available!
Requirements:- Physical requirements include ability to operate machinery, lift up to 40 lbs, and stand on feet for most of the day
- Additional abilities include written and verbal communication, ability to read numbers, blueprints and measurements?
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality control
- Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements
- Ability to work on the 2nd shift schedule reliably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred qualifications:- High school diploma or GEDTechnical capacity
- Experience with tooling setup, materials handling equipment like forklifts, and fabrication processes including welding
- Hands-on experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar is a plus
