Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) The basic functions of the EMT is to provide non-emergency and emergency transportation utilizing the knowledge and skills learned in EMT-B courses. The EMT-B:functions in uncommon situationshas basic understanding of stress responsehas understanding of BSI (Body Substance Isolation)understand basic medical-legal principlesfunctions within scope of care as defined by the state of Illinois.
Qualifications:- Valid drivers license
- Valid Illinois EMT licence
- Valid AHA CPR card
