Criminal Defense Investigator - Harlem Impact

Neighborhood Defender Service in Harlem seeks an Investigator to support the Criminal Defense Practice. You will collaborate with attorneys, social workers, and client advocates to prepare hearings and trials, and to gather information for defense theory. You will interview witnesses, photograph crime scenes, collect and preserve evidence with proper chain-of-custody procedures, and help draft subpoenas, affidavits, and trial exhibits.
