Seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to develop, test, and validate medical device packaging systems for new product introductions and sustaining projects. Experience with EO sterilization and packaging interactions is required.
Responsibilities:
Design and validate sterile and non-sterile medical device packaging.
Develop test plans, protocols, specifications, and validation reports.
Perform packaging testing and equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with applicable FDA, ISO, ASTM, and ISTA standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related scientific field.
5+ years of relevant experience in Medical device packaging, including pouches, thermoformed trays, and sealing equipment.
Knowledge of EO sterilization and ISO 11607.
Experience in packaging validation, technical documentation, and testing.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Salary: The hourly rate for this position is 48 -52 per hour. (Depends on experience)
