CAD Drafter
What you'll bring:
AAS in CAD Drafting or a similar field 1-3 years of experience in drafting, preferably in the telecommunications field
What you'll do:
Primary Objective of Position: To produce quality, accurate working documents, maps, staking sheets, common drafting practices and other documents in a timely manner that exceed client expectations.
Essential Functions:
I. Draftinga. Transform initial rough drawings, staking sheets, information, specifications, etc. into working documents as directed by client or engineerb. Assure drawings adhere to applicable specifications, standards, and/or client instructionsc. Update maps and staking sheets as neededd. Maintain neat and accurate files both electronic and physicale. Produce plots and photocopies of final drawingsf. Hand draft as neededg. Ability to operate Auto CAD, Auto CAD Map, Cadtel, Visio and Elation Systemsh. Maintain drafting equipment and suppliesII. Client Relationsa. Work directly with client as directed to assure a clear understanding of expectationsb. Assure professional demeanor at all times when interacting with clients, peers, and supervisorsc. Assist with creating other documents, books, surveys, etc. as directed
Location: In-person, Perham building
Pay: $18-21/hr, DOE
