Responsibilities:
Assist lead baker in daily bagel and baked goods productionMeasure, mix, and prepare dough and other baking ingredients according to recipesOperate and maintain baking equipment including ovens, mixers, and slicersEnsure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards are followedMonitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent product qualityAssist with stocking and rotating ingredients and baked goods inventorySupport front-of-house staff during peak hours as neededTIME 3 AM to 11AM
Requirements:
Prior experience in a bakery, cafe, or food service environment preferredBasic knowledge of baking techniques and kitchen equipmentAbility to work early morning shifts and weekendsStrong attention to detail and commitment to product consistencyAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbsFood handler certification or willingness to obtain oneReliable, punctual, and a strong team playerAbout Us: Bagel Dock Cafe LLC is a beloved local staple in the charming coastal community of Calabash, NC, known for serving up fresh, delicious bagels and cafe fare that keeps customers coming back day after day.
