- System Backup, Recovery & Disaster ManagementPOSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking an experienced Lab Systems Support Specialist to join our scientific IT operations department, reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager. In this role, you will solve complex technical and compliance challenges by providing robust technical support for laboratory applications, instrument-integrated systems, and regulated IT infrastructure to ensure seamless research and manufacturing workflows.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide first-level technical support for laboratory applications, instrument-integrated systems (such as HPLC, GC, and spectrophotometers), and laboratory IT infrastructure
- Coordinate and execute application software installations, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes for standalone and networked laboratory systems
- Administer Active Directory components, endpoint management via SCCM, and Windows-based laboratory workstations to ensure secure and reliable network operations
- Perform user administration, system access management, backup and recovery monitoring, and audit trail reviews in alignment with ITIL-based change management processes
- Ensure strict compliance with GLP, GMP, FDA, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory requirements by maintaining approved SOPs, work instructions, and validation documentationBENEFITSMedical | Dental | Vision | 401(k)EEOC Compliance:
