Fairfield, Ohio, 45014 Job Duration: 6 months with strong potential to extendJOB DESCRIPTION:Join our Supply Chain team as a Warehouse Design & Optimization Analyst, responsible for designing efficient warehouse layouts, optimizing space utilization, and improving operational performance. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive warehouse efficiency, streamline processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:- Needs strong Warehouse knowledge on the design of the Warehouse and being able to understand all departments etc.
- Responsible for designing and planning the inner layout of the warehouse
- Ensuring optimized functioning of the warehouse and achieving maximum efficiency & space utilization.
- Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems.
- Adopts lean concepts to streamline processes to achieve process flow efficiency.
- Organize and manage (or control) warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation and shipments according to SPS principle.
- Measures and analyzes warehousing performance (cost and service) and implement corrective actions.
- Manages projects to design and optimize warehousing processes.
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree required.
At least 2 years of warehouse design/optimization experience.
Proficient in computer aided design and drafting software.
Proficient Microsoft Skills and SAP.Knowledge of Database systems (SQL, Tableau etc.) a plus.
