APPLY NOW (opens in a new tab)Patient Care Technician (PCT) DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. Key Schedule: Clinic Opens at 3:30 – 4:30 amCloses approximately 5 pm12-14 hr shifts within this time Monday - Saturdays - varied daysschedule posted 1 month in advance
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
- Record vital signs and patient data
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
Requirements:
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
