Certified Surgical Technologist We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. This position requires critical expertise in supporting surgical procedures and maintaining a sterile environment. Location Within a 100-mile radius Shift Details Evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PMWeekend, call, and holiday availability required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and care of surgical patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Perform routine and delegated tasks according to hospital standards and policies
- Maintain a sterile surgical room and ensure the functionality of surgical equipment
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures with precision and efficiency
- May be responsible for precepting new staff as needed
Qualifications:
- MUST be a certified Surgical Technologist
- Experience in orthopedic surgery and robotic surgical systems, specifically Davinci
- Completion of a recognized Certified Surgical Tech program
- Knowledge of equipment cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection protocolsBLS certification is required
- Must have prior travel experience
- Important Note
Candidates must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of being called in for shifts.
