Director Strategy Operations

Reports to: Founder & CEO

Compensation: $200,000–$250,000 Pique is a category-defining wellness company that operates at the leading edge of performance branding. Our products are grounded in science and nature, our brand is driven by mission and emotion, and our culture is shaped by high performance and individual agency.

Position Overview: We are hiring a Director of Strategy & Operations to be the integrator for our founder and CEO: take our biggest ideas and turn them into plans, numbers and shipped results. You will sit at the center of the business — growth, product, supply chain, retail and finance — and own the operating system that connects them. For the right person, this is a fast track to VP.You are part strategist, part analyst, part operator. You model the impact of a decision before we make it, tell us honestly whether it is possible, and when the first answer is no, find another way through. You call out what the data says before anyone asks — shift spend here, reorder there, this launch is at risk — and then help the team act on it. You will work directly with our founder and CEO and senior leadership as one close-knit team — short decision loops, big impact and real ownership. You stay hands‑on: building the model, writing the plan, getting into the tools yourself. If you want to advise from a distance, this is not the role.

Responsibilities: Turn Strategy Into Execution Take the CEO's priorities from idea to plan: test feasibility, set owners and dates, and drive the most important cross‑functional initiatives to done. Own the highest‑leverage unowned problems as they arise — a new launch, a supply constraint, a new channel — until the right leader is in place. Own execution end to end so the CEO's attention stays on the biggest swings. Own Business Planning & Performance Own the annual and quarterly operating plan with finance; roll functional roadmaps into one view of what is on track, at risk or behind. Run the weekly business review: the few numbers that matter, what changed and what we are doing about it. Model the impact of major decisions — pricing, promotions, launches, inventory, channel mix — before we commit. Build the Insight Engine Partner with analytics to turn data into decisions, not dashboards; flag early where growth, margin or inventory is drifting. Connect unit economics across the business — CAC, LTV, contribution margin, inventory — so every team decides with the same numbers. Lead how we use AI to operate: tools, workflows and diagnostics that make every team faster. Scale the Organization Design team structures and operating cadences as we grow — just enough process, never bureaucracy. Help hire and onboard new leaders, and cover gaps in functions we are still building.

Requirements: 5+ years combining top-tier strategy consulting, investing or business operations with hands‑on operating experience at a high‑growth consumer or DTC brand. Hands‑on time inside a growing brand — you operated, not just advised. Exceptional financial and analytical skill: you build the model yourself and know what it means for the business. Fluency in DTC economics across acquisition, retention, margin, inventory and retail. A track record of driving cross‑functional initiatives to done without formal authority. You turn a one‑line idea into a plan, a model and a result, and you are energized by ambiguity. An AI‑first operator who builds your own tools and workflows. Clear, concise writing; you communicate in memos and numbers. High ownership, sound prioritization, fast execution and genuine interest in wellness, nutrition, beauty or longevity. Ability to receive and deliver radical candor — non‑negotiable. Enthusiasm for shaping a motivated, talented, and truth‑seeking team culture, with a commitment to personal growth and organizational excellence.
