Machine Shop Warehouse Assistant

Job Description: Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Deburr, polish, grind, sand, and clean parts as they come out of the machines. Make sure parts are prepared to be inspected by the Quality Control department. Operate manual and conventional machines as directed. Assist in a machine shop where needed (shipping, receiving, inventory, etc.).General shop maintenance (empty chip barrels from machines, maintain clean area, etc.).Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Must be able to operate in a flexible and fast-moving environment. Mechanically and mathematically inclined. Experience/interest in a machine shop is highly preferred. Must be reliable and a team player.

Position: Temp-to-Hire

Shift: Monday – Friday from 6:00am – 2:30pmSalary: $20-22/hour (Depending on experience)
