Our client located in Itasca, IL is seeking a Contract payroll Specialist to join their team for a possible contract to hire role!
Responsibilities:- Responsible for end-to-end union payroll processing for 100 employees
- Previous experience with prevailing wage payroll
- Certified payroll reporting and compliance
- Multi-state payroll processing with an emphasis on Ohio state and local tax filings
- Direct experience with payroll audits, reconciliations and issue resolution
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent payroll experience required.
- Hours 7am to 3:30pmAssignment is a possible contract to hire for the right candidate Hourly Compensation: Up to $40 an hour (DOE)
- This role is hybrid, 2 days onsite weekly
