Full-Time | Remote-First | Louisiana-Based | Up to 25% Travel
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
The Role:- CoreWise is looking for a sales leader who can open the right doors, build trust and turn relationships into growth.
- We help companies make better decisions about their people through recruiting, workforce strategy, assessments and leadership coaching.
- When those decisions are right, the impact reaches well beyond an open position.
- A business gets the person it needs to move forward. A team gets stronger. Morale improves. Leaders get time and capacity back. And someone gets the opportunity to do work that fits their strengths in a company where they can contribute and grow.
- As Director of Sales, you will build the relationships that make those outcomes possible.
- You’ll work directly with business owners and senior leaders to understand what is happening inside their organizations, identify where CoreWise can help and develop long-term partnerships built on trust.
- What You’ll OwnDevelop new business across CoreWise’s recruiting, workforce strategy, assessment and leadership coaching services.
- Build relationships with CEOs, owners, COOs and other senior decision-makers.
- Lead consultative conversations that uncover the business and people challenges behind the immediate need.
- Develop opportunities through your network, referrals, strategic relationships, marketing activity and outbound business development.
- Manage opportunities from first conversation through close.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline with consistent follow-up and reliable forecasting.
- Keep CRM activity, opportunities and next steps current and visible.
- Partner with marketing, recruiting and client delivery to create a strong experience from first conversation through execution.
- Bring market insight back into the business and help identify where CoreWise should focus next.
- Contribute to the continued development of our sales process and approach.
- Autonomy Comes With the Role
- Experienced salespeople know that relationships do not all develop the same way.
- You’ll have significant autonomy over how you manage your market, your schedule and your relationships.
- Sometimes the right move is a phone call or a Google meet. Sometimes it is lunch, a client visit or getting in the car because showing up matters.
- We trust you to use good judgment.
- You’ll also have direct access to leadership, and what you hear from clients and see in the market will help inform how CoreWise grows.
What We’re Looking For:- You may be a Director, senior business development leader or experienced individual contributor. We care more about the level at which you can operate than whether you have managed a large sales team.
- You should bring:10+ years of B2B sales or business development experience.
- A strong track record of developing and closing meaningful new business.
- Experience working directly with owners, executives and senior leadership teams.
- Executive presence and strong business judgment.
- A consultative, relationship-driven approach to sales.
- The ability to build trust and develop relationships over time.
- Strong follow-through, accountability and CRM discipline.
- The ability to understand the dynamics inside a business beyond the immediate problem presented.
- A professional network you know how to activate and continue expanding.
- Comfort managing your own time and operating with a high degree of independence.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, financial services, banking, professional services or other relationship-driven B2B industries is especially relevant.
- A strong network in Louisiana is a significant advantage.
