A well-established manufacturing site is looking for a Sr. EHS Specialist to support Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Sustainability programs. This is a full-time, onsite role - open to candidates willing to commute or relocate to the area. What they're looking for: Bachelor's degree preferred, technical discipline preferred (Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene)3-5+ years of progressive EHS experience in chemical or broader manufacturing/high-risk industries Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations, with the ability to interpret and implement requirements Experience with risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
Preferred:
HAZWOPER (24 or 40-hour), First Aid/CPR/AED, PSM experience, ASP/GSP certification
Key responsibilities:- Drive regulatory compliance and risk management (OSHA, EPA)
- Lead training on risk awareness, PSM, and JHA best practices
- Support environmental programs (air, wastewater, waste, SPCC, CERCLA)
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and chemical spill response
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, HR, and Quality
