Transactional ERISA Associate

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a junior associate with one to two years of experience to join its transactional U.S. ERISA practice in Chicago. This role involves advising lenders, financial institutions, and private investment funds on ERISA compliance matters in complex financing transactions.

Duties: Advise on ERISA compliance in fund financings and acquisition financings. Handle leveraged finance transactions and bridge loans. Manage syndicated and bilateral financings, both domestic and cross-border.

Requirements: Admitted to the Illinois bar. Detail-oriented with strong writing and analytical skills. Excellent law school academic credentials. Sophisticated law firm experience in transactional work.

Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree, class of 2025-2024.

Certifications: Admitted to practice law in Illinois. SkillsStrong analytical and writing abilities. Attention to detail.
