Job Description:
Ambassador Personnel is hiring a 2nd shift CNC Mill Operator for our Manufacturing client in Fenton, MO. This position offers competitive pay, benefits, and the opportunity to join a great company!
Position Overview:- 2nd shift Mon-Thur 2:30pm-12:15am4) (10-hour shifts)
- Will train on 1st shift Monday - FridayThe CNC Mill Operator will be responsible for:1+ yrs of previous CNC experience or CNC school required.
- Set up, lay out, and operate various CNC lathes and/or mills.
- Read blueprints or job orders for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances and tooling instructions such as fixtures, cutting speeds, depth of cut, and determine the sequence of operations.
Selects, positions, and secures tool in tool holder. Positions and secures workpiece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers, or fixtures. Moves controls to position tool and workpiece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut. Sets up fixture, starts machine.
Requires ability to read precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers. Observes operation of machine and verifies conformity of machined workpiece to specifications.
