Private Chef

*Local candidates only…asap hire*We are helping over lovely clients find a culinary school trained chef (requirement!), that has several years experience working in private homes. They are based 30-40 minutes outside of DC, and want the best. The clients are older, but have a discerning palate. They like variety in their diets and want to ensure you can make at least 30 dinners without repeating a meal. You will always cook for 6 people (2 principals and 4 staff, including yourself). The schedule is flexible, but does require every weekend. Example – you can take Mon and Tues off, Tues and Wed…they are flexible on your consistent 2 days off. You will prepare lunch and dinner daily, and have lunch and dinner prepped for your 2 days off, so the clients never have to worry about food. You will also shop and ensure there is food for breakfast, although the housekeeper prepares breakfast. Being a team player is very important in this home! They had one chef for 20 years and another chef for 11 years – they truly value their staff and everyone stays for a very long time! You will also create a weekly menu, so everyone is on the same page regarding the clients meals.
